Barr-Nunn has extended its OTR hiring area to include a 25-mile radius of Detroit, MI (along with all areas South of I-94 in MI). We are also now hiring from the states of Mississippi and Arkansas (within 75 miles of Memphis, TN) for over-the-road positions.

Syracuse, NY (25-mile radius) and locations along I-81 from Scranton, PA to Syracuse are now eligible for our Northeast Regional fleet. This includes Binghamton, NY and Corland, NY as well as Scranton, PA.

Savannah, GA (25-mile radius) has also been added to our hiring area for Southeast Regional.

Additional Requirements

• Hazmat Endorsement will be required within 120 days of hire.
• No more than 3 Moving Violations in the last 4 years
• No more than 2 Moving Violations in the last 12 months
• No DOT preventable or on road accidents in last 4 OTR driving years
• No more than 1 parking lot or customer lot accident in the past 18 months

• Practical Miles
• Time Home: Home 2-3 days every other weekend (OTR)
• Regional & Hometime Fleets available
• 401K from Day 1, Barr-Nunn contributes 1 cent per mile regardless if you contribute or not (CD)
• 75% Pre-planning so you can plan your day

• Terminal Locations: Granger, IA/Charlotte NC/Manchester, PA

• Owner Operators will receive performance bonuses totaling $3200 for the first 120,000 miles and $3900 every 120,000-mile increment thereafter. Bonuses will be paid to owners in equal installments ($800 - $975) every 30,000 miles! .
• Our Owner Operators (OTR) are averaging $1.24 Per Practical Mile on all miles including fuel surcharge (week of 5/10/10).
• Barr-Nunn Pays $.94 - $1.91 per mile plus fuel surcharge on all complete loads!
• Owner Operator Sign On will be $1000 on 1st settlement - valid thru 6/18/10.

• Barr-Nunn Company Drivers receive a $312.50 Appreciation Bonus for every 60,000 paid miles.
• Starting Base Pay OTR with Hazmat = $.39 - $.41 per Practical mile.
• Company Driver Sign On will be $1000 on 1st check - Valid thru 6/18/10.

Barr-Nunn offers the following Home Time Options for Company Drivers and Owner Operators

• Midwest Regional - Home every weekend
• Ohio Regional- Home every weekend
• Northeast Regional - Home every weekend
• Southeast Regional - Home every weekend
• Southeast Hometime - Guaranteed a minimum of 44/52 weekends home per year
• OTR - Home every other weekend
